Somehow I managed to shrink my input window for the Gets() function. The area where the user input charaters are shown is about half the size that it was previously.
Anyone have any idea what I might have done?
I am using a Jornada 720 and I have added PocketC CEAPI software.

The gets() input window size is controlled by pcshell. If pcshell keeps this window and just shows and hides it when you call gets() then it's possible that you have managed to change its size with a call to wndmove() or one of the CE API functions.

I don't know whether the gets() window has an ID visible to PocketC programs. If it has then maybe you're calling wndmove() with that ID. Otherwise perhaps something that you are doing with a window handle from the API library has got the wrong handle.

Finally, it may be a change in pcshell. I don't know whether Kevin has updated the runtime recently and changed the size of the gets window.

If you want to guarantee the way an input looks you should just build your own input box with an edit control and maybe a couple of buttons.

The pcshell.exe that I have is dated 12/16/01
so that must be what happened. I have been looking for the latest and greatest of everything in an attempt to get seropen() to work. Thanks for your comments/suggestions. I will either go back to an older copy of pcshell, or try a work around.
Thanks again and Happy Holidays,
