This is for asking someone the following:
Im writing a program that I?Ǭ¥m looking forward to releasing for free near soon, on finances. The question I have is if I can reserve some hard disk memory, lets say a map of bytes to store in and retrieve from variable values and how. I have seen that someone suggested a way to perform a saving procedure, BUT SAVING AS TEXT. All I want to do is store a value in hard disk (I can only save in ram so far) quit the program and if I open it again, I should retrieve some values from memory. Thanks in advance.

You need to use a database. There's a lot of information in the pocket c literature and on this board.
