I came across this by accident. Very nice for documenting undocumented functions in code I am using to learn with. Are there any other such gems as this?

Also, I noticed sometimes function prototypes have an int before the function name. Does this serve a purpose?

Lastly, is there a program to check a file for function's and variables that would let you know the names of all global variables and function names so you don't step on any toes when naming your own and the name is already used in an included file?

Oh, can you release resources for global variables if you know you are done with them before exiting the program?

Thanks in advance.

Mark

@cmd. It can be used to call PilRC & par to generate resources and stuff them into your final .prc. Do a forum search for examples.

It's the return value type of the function. As far as I know it's optional.

The project panel on the right side of PDE list all functions current to your project.

If your global variables are pointers and point to dynamically allocated data (via malloc, malloct, Array), then you can call a free to deallocate the memory, however, PocketC will automatically do this for you when your app exits.
