Hello,
don't know if this is the right forum, but here is my problem:
I have connected a gps-receiver on the pocketpc and with the delivered testsoftware I can get a connection to it using COM5 and 4800 Baud.
When trying to open the port with
seropenex("COM5:", 4800, "8N1N", 1000)
the result is 0.
I tried also other parameter but allways 0.
Has someone experience with seropenex?
Help is very welcome!
Thanks
Klaus

Use the forum search with seropenex and you will get a number of hits.

Thank you for the answer.
Just nothing works! I also tried GPS from tomtom V2.08
It can connect with "COM3" and "CF_Card Generic" and works fine.
Is it possible to use "CF_Card Generic" with seropenex ?
And why does this not send any char ???

#include "pcheader.h"
main(){
int nRet;
int wind_event;
int msg[4];
nRet = seropenex("COM3:", 4800 ,"8N1N" ,1000);
commsetmask(nRet,EV_RXCHAR);
while(1){
commwait(nRet,0);
wind_event=eventmsg(1,msg);
sleep(0);
switch(wind_event){
case PM_COMMEVENT:
{
putsl("Thats it");
quit();
break;
}
}
}
}

Help is very welcome!

Thanks
Klaus
