Does PocketC have a garbage collection routine it runs to recover string space (like the old BASIC interpreters) ? I'm creating a "universe" file and I decided to do it in all text (for various reasons). Things are cranking along happily when everything grinds to a halt - even the "busy" icon slows down. After a bit, it picks right back up and this continues for a couple of minutes. The final output is a 500k file. Before I change my structures I thought I'd find out if this is something to "design around" in the future..? Thanks in advance,
