Will pToolbox's special features run in the new emulated environment of PalmOS 5.0? Since PalmOS 5.0 will be running on ARM processors, any software that violates the "rules" (ex. accessing registers directly, etc.) and goes beyond what is specified in the PalmOS API will not run on the new machines. If pToolbox will not run on the new machines, will it be updated to run in the new environment? I am assuming that PocketC itself will be updated to run on the new OS.

I'm in the process of making the library OS5 compliant. With the 7.1.6 release all the form functions were made to run on OS5.

The only loose ends are the bitmap support functions (pretty much only the FastBmp function is compliant). There is some work to get the others working right, but its completely possible.

My plan is to make the embeddable versions of the library available only when the lib is fully OS5 compliant.

The PToolboxLib guy.
