Fevent

Postby Corzar on Thu Mar 21, 2002 5:47 pm

I have this:

if (click = Fevent(2))
{
if (click > 1 && click < 3)
{
Fctl(100, &X); Fctl(101, &Y);
}

if (click == 11)
{
Y = 0; X = 0;
}
}

if (click = Fevent(1))
{

But it won't detect the clicks other then those on my buttons. I need to detect clicks in other places too! Please help

You need to do the Fctl BINDX & BINDY commands before the Fevent call. And you only do them once, usually early on in your program.

Once the bind variables have been set, the Fevent call will write these variables directly when a pen event occurs.

Since you don't have the bind variables set beforehand, Fevent will also not report pen events (it has no place to write the x & y position values).
