I am new to pocketC and I seem to have one problem whit it.

How can I get string type data from Array to string variable?

I have managet to read list items from list to array and I am able to return those items in to list2, but I just can't figure out how to read data from that array to string :(

code I am trying to write is this:

pointer ppl;
int L;
string item;

case Button1:
L=Fctl(LISTLEN, List1);

FaddList(List2,L,ppl); // works just fine
all items are transferred to list 2
item=ppl[1] //this I can't get to work :(

I have try:
item=ppl // gives me adress of 1st item in ppl, like it should
item =*ppl // I get fatal exp.
item = *ppl[1] // I get Global ref out of range
item = ppl[1] // I get again fatal exp.

PocketC v6.5 broke some of the string functionality in the PToolboxLib. See the following forum post about this...

Your code should work once I update the library.
