I use PToolboxlib in a couple of applications and I now have customers using PalmOS 5.3 and 5.4.

I haven't done much with PocketC and Ptoolboxlib for a while. A quick look at this appears to suggest that the failure is in FsetText calls. The simulator reports:

control68k.c, Line:1300, Not a graphic control

And it reports it as many times as there are FsetText calls in the initialization stuff.

Anyone with similar experiences? Does Ptoolboxlib just not support these OS's?

Thanks for any help.

A little more testing shows that it might be resource forms that are the problem. A simple Fctl(POPALERT,ALERT1); for example, pops the alert properly, but then fails with a memory manager null pointer.

And if I replace my resource form with a dynamic form and build the buttons, it seems ok.

Does this mean anything to anyone?

That's a harmless warning. However, I fixed it a while ago in my local, unreleased version of the library. Drop me an email if you want it.
