Hi all,
I have this thing that is happening to me when I am working on a project for a long period of time, the only fix that I know of is to delete the objects it complains about, here goes:

after I have been working and compiling things no problem every once and a while I will get an error complaining about all objecdt must have different identifiers and it opens up the .orb file and the errors are in there. I am pretty sure we are not supposed to even edit the .orb file at all, so this is a little wierd. I have been fixing this problem by deleting the ones it complains about and starting over, it gets to be a real pain sometimes. Next time I get this error I will send it to you Jeremy.

Here is when I got this error...
If I wanted to pass a value from user input from one form to another and used the same variable name, even if I might be using the same data structure I'd get the error. For example if I have on the first screen
price.text = entry.hho.price;
on the load sequence and
entry.hho.price = price.text;
on the save sequence and want to use this value on screen 2 the screen 2's load is
pricem.text = entry.hho.price;
and save is
entry.hho.price = pricem.text;

I just change the field name on the screen but update to the same structure variable.

Thanks Fred. That was probably my problem. Do you know how to make a reuseable menu?

Menus I haven't gotten to yet in my code exploration, but I'll let you in on a little secret, you can modify some things using RsrcEdit just like we do you know where. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
I'll let you know if I get into it at all this week.
