Have a couple applications all done and now I'm down to doing the standard menu. I'm stuck on how to pass the field pointer to the cut, copy, paste. I see in the help that it's UIField.cut (I've done it in CodeWarrior) but I can't figure how to set the filed point to apps it to the onselect event in the menu. Anybody?

If you open the .orb field of your app in a text editor after you add the menu and menu items you can edit the IDs of the menu items manually and use the PalmOS standard IDs for Copy/Cut/Paste,

Hope that helps.

For the benefit of us beginners in palm programming, would you mind repeating those standard IDs here for all to see, or sharing where this information can be looked up? Thanks much in advance,
