How do I use ldate() and date() functions to place the date in a string.
In pocket C I easily accomplished it with
showdate(){
int y=2;
string x;
x=date(y);
alert("Today is:\n "+x);
}
as a function prototype
I can't however figure out how to use the functions in OrbForms
:(

Hi Michael,
everything you need to know is in the help file, look at the Date object.
This code is the Orbforms version of yours.

showdate(){
Date mydate;
string x;
mydate.now();//get the current date/time
x=mydate.date();
alert("Today is:\n"+x);
}
