I am developing a device to communicate via IrDA to a Palm (Tungsten E2) and would like to extract the 3.3 volts from the SDIO connector. I noticed that pins 3 and 4 of the SD card (Vss and Vdd) have 3.3 only when an SD card is inserted or when the SD card is addressed, however the rest of the time the voltage is zero (probably to save battery).

Is there any command that enables the voltage on the SD card to be always on? Any experience with this? Thx!!
