I have an app that's just about ready for me to try to sell. I read through the stuff for Palmgear and it says I get a bigger percentage if I allow them to send the regcodes by supplying them with a jcode algorithm. It would also be nice to not have any delay if someone actually wants my program.

I had no idea what they were talking about so I sent them an email aksing for further clarification. I got a very nasty, unhelpful response, basically saying "If you don't understand, that's too bad".
I've seen references here that say I can just google it, but I have tried that and still find nothing that helps.

I have code in my program to generate a regcode, but I'm sure I just can't send that to them.

Can anyone explain what a jcode algorithm is, and how I can get it to PalmGear. I'm not at all attached to the code I'm using, so if there's some cookie cutter stuff, I could use that just as easily.

Also, if there's anything else that might be helpful to know as far as how to get an app out there, I'd appreciate the help.

TIA

Dana

The jcode stuff is just a snippet of java code that generates the registration code. When you select the jcode method of key generation, it will give you a web form that will let you type in the source code and test it.
