Can gadgets contain gadgets? I think not, and I wasn't able to make it work in code (got errors on variations of gadget declarations within a gadget). But I wondered if anyone knew a way to make it work. :?:

This is not possible. A gadget cannot contain another control. However, if you are in control of all the code being used, you can write your application in an object-oriented fashion that allowed you to re-use UI/behavior and embed it within a gadget.

Thank you for the response, Mr. Dewey. I've only been working with OrbWorks for a few days now but I am very impressed so far... it is very easy to work with and has a lot of great features. Gadgets in particular are a joy... I've got a scrollable tile map operational with minimal effort. I wanted to add players to the map (hence the question about gadgets within gadgets), but I think I can make that work in other ways.

OrbWorks is a lot of fun! Thanks again! :)
