I've been browsing the old forums, and found a few posts for this, but no answers.

Has anyone seen a library or source somewhere that will produce single or multi-line text input?

CControls are great, but I hate having to use a dialog to enter text instead of entering it on the screen!

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried the getsm() function?

Also, keep an eye on the PToolbox lib. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on a full blown "note" function. <img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> In maybe a week or so I should have it out.

I've tried getsi(), getsm(), and that's what I want to avoid, the dialog box! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

To give an example, in the adress book, when you tap on a line, the cursor appears and you can enter text right away.

Is this the type of functionality that your note function will have? If so, you know I'll be using it!
