since PocketC 6.5.1 I experienced a problem with dbwritex/dbreadx. After try and see a while a got this:
I define a pointer with "malloct(int nBlocks, string blockTypes)" using an "i" (integer) in the blockTypes for some entries.
Then I write the entries into a database with "dbwritex(pointer ptr, string format)" using the string format "c" (a single byte) for the mentioned integer entries.
Now the integer entries of the pointer are not written as single bytes but they are all written as 0 (cero).
This is since PocketC 6.5.1.

That is a bug in the current PocketC (and the last several versions also). I will address this in the next release.
