I have two questions concerning Pocket C.
My first is: Is there a way to beam a database to another palm user? ie. I make a button in my program that beams a database to asnother palm user.

My Second is: Using Pocket C, can i make my program locked so that it cant be copied or beamed? If not is there a native library out there that can do this?

Thanks in Advance.

Just go to the orbform forum search for unique PDA identification or something approaching.

We are looking to identify a PDA and a user so we can lock the program with a key.

I will try to developp a native library with a system to do it.

Sorry but I dont wuite understand your reply. Im trying to get the little Padlock icon next to my applications that you see on the beam panel. Some programs ie. Documents cant be beamed or copied to a card. When I look at these programs in RsrcEdit, the box labeled Copyright is ticked. Im trying to find out how to make my program like this because you cant do this using RsrcEdit.

If anyone can tell me of a native library that can beam a whole database or can make one for me I would be very grateful. RsrcEdit can do this and I want my program to be able to do thwe same.

Many developers have had this requirement over the years. Were you able to come up with a work around this deficiency? If so, please post your code to the forum.
