A few questions as I am considering getting
the PocketC (Desktop):

Are the prc executables faster then the ones
created by the OrbForms Designer?
Are they faster than prc's created with PocketC for Palm OS?

Can I do the same (or maybe more) GUI development than
with Designer?

Can I combine both platforms?

Anything else I should consider before making the switch?

I will appreciate the responses. More the better :)

OrbForms apps are about 30% faster than PocketC due to the different architecture used internally.

PocketC Desktop Edition creates slightly faster apps than PocketC for Palm OS due to the presence of a minimal optimizer.

GUI development is easiest with OrbForms, but can also be done with PocketC using a number of external tools - see http://www.orbworks.com/pcpalm/resources.html

OrbForms and PocketC cannot be combined. PocketC Desktop Edition is designed to be combined with PocketC for Palm OS.
