I am fairly new to PocketC.

Does PocketC support playing an MP3 file from within an applet and returning control to the applet after the playing has been completed? If you can do this, please give me some help or point me in the right direction for doing this in the PocketC language.

Thank you,

The OS doesn't have any specific support for MP3 playback, and PocketC doesn't implement its own decoder. So, unfortunately, you cannot do this.

Maybe I asked too narrow of a question. OK, I can't play MP3 files but can I play WAV files from a PocketC program?

Thanks for the information. I downloaded SoundLib and got it to work. However, I can only play WAV files that are included within the PocketC program and when doing so I could only execute a PocketC program of around 200KB. This is very limiting to the size of the WAV files that can be played. Is there anyway to use SoundLib and play WAV files that are external to the PocketC program. If yes, this would mean much larger WAV files can be played. By-the-way I am using a Palm Tungsten T3.

Thanks for your help....
