http client?

Discuss PocketC for Palm OS (including Desktop Edition)

The network functions for PocketC are fairly primitive. Has anyone developed an HTTP client library? If not, I'm probably going to start working on one. Start with GET and go from there. Let me know if you're interested in helping.

And if anyone has some networking code I can look at, I'd love something to sink my teeth into. I'm a Java developer, so sockets as a concept don't scare me - just don't know what I don't know about "BSD style sockets". Otherwise, I'll just jump in and start playing around.

I believe there is that functionality in both Architect and Designer.

BSD-style sockets are pretty much "standard sockets". The java Socket class is a OO version of the same API, so there should be no learning curve.

Architect/OrbForms don't support HTTP directly, but implementing the basics of HTTP is pretty simple.
