Infrared Sniffer

Hey there,

i'm currently working on a tool that could be discribed as an IR-Sniffer. I.E. analyse IR-signals. I've planed to do this with PocketC, using the serial functions itself. I've experimented a little bit but everything i could receive seems to be garbage, because every single signal i could receive seems to be ecactly the same... I think the serial functions are responsible for such a behaviour.

Is there a way to get low-level or binary access to the IR functions? I don't want to use such data transmitting protocols used for beaming programs or contacts.

Maybe someone of you knows a little about this kind of stuff...
