Using the Hard Buttons

Discuss PocketC for Palm OS (including Desktop Edition)

I am new to PocketC, and I ran into a problem: I can make an event for something to happen when the user presses one of the "hard buttons" (the buttons on the palm), but when I press a hard button during the program I made, it takes me to the place the button is for (address book, calender, todo..). Is there any way to make it so that when the user presses a hard button during a program, it only acts in the program? I tried a while(1) { } loop, but it didnt seem to help. Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking through the examples that come with PocketC, and I found the answer: "hookhard(1);" all i have to do is put that before the hard button events.

all you have to do is use the hookhard() function. you can learn more about this is the manual you get with just declare hookhard(1); write after the variables in main() and that will do the trick.
