regrint() broken

Discuss PocketC for CE (including Desktop Edition)

Postby guy on Wed Feb 14, 2001 12:01 pm

When I call regrint() to read an integer registry key, if the key isn't there I'm getting what looks like a large random number instead of 0.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I can't release PCForm V1.25 with this problem. It keeps all sorts of stuff in the registry and needs to know when it is initialising values the first time round.

FYI PCForm V1.25 is now ready (apart from the runtime problem) and now can integrate the cmdbar library with your app in addition to all the other stuff already posted.

The problem with doing that is that reading the inf file from the cab would reveal some of the security keys. Also, some of them are created randomly, so they couldn't be initialised.

Kevin has emailed me to say he has a hand on the problem.
