I am looking into buying a development system for my jornada 720 hpc.
what I want to do with the language is to send bytes(tokens) via a serial port to a microprocessor (Basic Stamp II from Parallaxinc.com).

Is pocketc capable of controlling the serial port?

thanks
curtis

Yes. Make sure you get the latest runtime. The original 720 runtime had a bug in the serial comms functions.

You can also control serial comms from PocketC by directly calling the Windows CE API serial comms functions.

I had problems with the new version for the 720. I ended up not been able to use it. Still waiting for a version that works like the the versions for the other devices (may possibly never show up)
