Is there any way of testing if a key exists in the registry, you can read/write to reg, but can you check if key exists, before you read from it....
ie. I want to read from key if it exists, else write key. :)

No. In V2 you could assume that if the key wasn't there and you read it then integer values would return 0 and string values would return a null string.

In early V3 non-existent string values started returning the string "0".

Now, non existent values return an arbitrary random number.

This is on kevin's bug list.
