In the PocketC for Palm OS web page, I found the following :"For large applications we recommend using Qed as your editor."
I have download Qed and I appreciate its editing capabilities, however, I found boring to use it with PocketC, because in case of syntax error, PocketC is not able to open Qed and to localize the error in the text as it was possible with a memo.
PocketC give only the line of the error, and it is very long to open Qed, lauch "jump to line" and find the error !!
When you are a beginner like me, syntax errors are not rare, and I spend to much time to repeat the operation Compile in PocketC, Open Qed, Find the line, Find and correct the error then Goback to PocketC and compile again , etc ....

Do you think there is a more rapid solution ?

Yeh there is.. it's called CryptoPad.
It's freeware and the GOTO ERROR part works with PocketC.
You can also (if you wish) encrypt your source code or any other memos so that they won't be easy to see.
This program also has the advantage of being able to make memos bigger than the 4k limit (if your memo is bigger you will see >4k at the bottom of the screen). When you sync, it will only sync the top 4k to the desktop as this is built into the conduit (afaik) but you will retain the >4k file on your Palm.
I also use WordSmith to back up my source which makes .doc files which can be >4k and sync to your hard drive.
You can get CryptoPad from: ... odID=15721

Funky groovy PocketC support site.
Iron Filings v2.0 released.

Jump to error for QED will be supported in version 4.4, thanks to some recent work by the author of QED.
