Does the portable keyboard in PToolbox refer to the on-screen keyboard which can be used instead of graffiti input. If so, is it possible to modify it in any way?

No, it refers to actual physical keyboards you plug you PDA into.

You can always create your own "keyboard" form with a field and buttons you want.
