I've recently had to start using ID numbers in my resource databases with a value of more than 10000 for the particular program I writing-due to its size. Every time I create a .prc I get a message telling me that I have used a number which is greater than the '0-9999' range and warning of possible conflicts. If I rememeber correctly, cut and paste etc. use 10000-10007 and I've had no problems with these in other programs since. Are there any other problems that could appear and that I should be aware of.

Thanks in advance.

All resource IDs above 9999 are reserved by the PalmOS, and as such you should never create a resource in this range as there may be a confict. Though you are free to use existing resources in this range, such as the menu item ids 10000-10007 and menu id 10000.
