Hello,

I am making a springboard for the Visor that uses pocket C. Can I creat my pocketC program so that it logs data to a database even when the Palm is running other programs? Is this possible? I know that the datebook alarm can come on when I am running any application. I would love to be able to log data with the Visor running any program. I would also like to log temperautre to the database with the power off. HElp! :~)

There is a native library for reading and writing springboard memory locations. It may be of help. Do a search on this forum for "iolib" for more information.

I know someone you might want to contact for help on this. He is an engineer at EG&G (a NASA subcontractor). He showed me a system with a palm recording data from a spectrometer (which was the size of a soda can!). E-mail me privately if you are interested in his contact information.
