Hallo,
i supose, this is the wrong place for my question ..
but i hope, anyone can help me.
i am a beginner, using pocketc and have written a
small application for my palm.
for example for dataentry on the palm, stored in
several databases.
my question is, how can i get a backup of the
databases to my desktop ?
the hotsync does not consider this self constructed
databases ...
and how can i, if nessasary, later but the backup
back to the palm ?
I hope, anyone can help me.

You could try this, with rsrcedit you could set the backup bit in your database. rsrcedit can be found at palmgear.com. I'm not entirely sure if this will do the trick but it is worth a try.

Even easier, from the PocketC "Compiled Programs" screen, pop the menu and use the Backup option.

Thanks for the tip Joe. I use PDE most often and forget about the little helpers in the handheld version. :?
