Access PocketC Database?

Discuss PocketC for Palm OS (including Desktop Edition)

Postby lenniedg2000 on Sun Feb 19, 2006 7:59 pm

Hi,

I'm using PocketC to develop a invoice application that I can use myself, how can I access a Pocket C database from a desktop application written in Visual Basic?

This is the process that I'm looking at:

* Pocket C application write invoice records to its onboard database;
* When sync desktop application read data and post it to my main database.

Kind Regards,

Lennie De Villiers

I believe there are several libraries that you can use from VB. The easiest thing to do may be to use OrbPDB, which allows you to convert a PocketC datbase to a CSV file (and back). See the OrbWorks home page under "other".
