Background App

Discuss PocketC for Palm OS (including Desktop Edition)

Is it possible, with PocketC to have a program load into the background when the palm is turned on (reset) and wait to trap a specific event?

For example, several programs like AppLock wait until an app is launched. If the app is on a "locked" list, AppLock prompts for a password. If the password is given correctly the app is launched, if not it is exited.

How would someone go about having their program wait for an event such as an app launch without their app being in focus?

PocketC applications can't run in the background, because they require OS resources that are only available to the primary running application.
