Alpha Release

For Casio E115 or E125 PocketPC Devices only.

1. Keep pchelp.htp in the windows directory.
2. Create a separate folder for the rest of files, and run pceditor.exe.

Does the V3 device edition have the same command line interface as the V2 version?

ie Does it support the various build/run switches and a file to load?

<path>\pceditor.exe <file> [-multisession] [-directxxx]

Where xxx is either
build Just build the program
run Build and run the program

The square brackets are part of the switch.
You must include the [-multisession] switch which runs up a new copy of pceditor. If you don't run up a new copy then the command line gets ignored. You need to tell users to close down the pceditor afterwards. If they don't then they end up with lots of copies running.

Example:

exec("open", "\\PocketC\\pceditor.exe", "\\My Documents\\program.pc [-multisession] [-directrun]" ) ;

It could do with a [-exit] switch to tell it to close down afterwards (perhaps only if there are no errors on build).
