Turning On and Off Input Keypad on PPC

Discuss PocketC for CE (including Desktop Edition)

Does any one out there know of a way to turn the input keyboard on/off on a PPC device without using a 3rd party application (such as Ralf Schieferdecker's PocketC TaskBar Icon application).

There is a function in the PocketC V3 runtime library that turns the keyboard on and off:

devicesip(0) Turn keyboard off
devicesip(1) Turn keyboard on

At the moment you need to use the desktop compiler to generate V3 code, but the V3 compiler should be available for the device soon.

Hi Guy,
But will it go fast enough someday?

I didn't know about the SIP command. I would use it in Space Treker if I could use V3.
