Pocket C Network Library

I've been using Pocket C for a while now and one thing I really miss is a network library. As more and more Palm devices become net-enabled (I use Omnisky), Pocket C could a great language to write simple TCP/IP clients with.

So my questions are:
1. Pocket C authors, any plans for a net lib?
2. Has anybody else worked on one?
3. I've thought of trying to expose PalmOS' NetLib through a Pocket C library but my knowledge here is limited. Is this the right approach?

What do people think? Would this be a useful addition?

I would not mind seeing TCP/IP library written for the Palm.

No real good input here. Just support! :-)

You can write a native library to do this using the NetLib. If you are already familiar with Berkeley sockets, the implementation shouldn't be too difficult.

Here is a link to the source code of a Palm browser called WAPUniverse. It uses the NetLib and is a good starting point.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... up_id=1339

If you need some help on the native library mechanics side, I'm willing to lend some support.
