MemoryMgr.c, Line 3036 Chunk over-locked

I was programming my Palm a couple of weeks ago and it locked up in a function. The only way to get the Palm OS back was to RESET. At one stage, when I hit the reset pin, the usual PALM logo came up, then the background went black (the whole screen inversed).
Nothing would bring it back except for a total wipe of the device.

I don't know if this is related, but every couple of days now the PDA crashes (usually when changing from one program to another) with the message:
MemoryMgr.c, Line 3036.
Chunk over-locked.

Hitting the (Reset) button doesn't work - I have to press the reset pin in the back, but luckily I don't have to wipe everything off.
I thought maybe either of these problems was X-Master hack causing problems, so I don't use it any more, but still get this error.

Any ideas?

I would suggest that you try running the applications in question on the emulator using a debug rom. One of these programs likely has a bug in it which is cause the problem.

Also, you may be running into some kind of OS bug. There are patches out for handspring and palm OS3.5 roms.
