Backing up Applets

Discuss PocketC for Palm OS (including Desktop Edition)

Postby The Phantom Lord on Sun Feb 25, 2001 2:43 pm

I'm trying out the PocketC compiler, and I'm trying to back up some applets I've written. I hot synch, but the applet doesn't show up on my computer. Any ideas about what is happening here? Does PocketC have to be registered to back up things? I'd like to see how the applets transfer between handhelds before I go further with it.

Thanks!

In the PocketC screen you just need to highlight your applet and then open the menu. You should find the option for backup there. At the next hotsync your program will be backed up to your computer. Using the Windows Palm Desktop it will go wherever you installed the palm desktop, then the directory with your name, and then backup.

As in:

<pre id=code><font face=courier size=2 id=code>
->Palm Install Directory
->Your Hotsync Name
->Backup
</font id=code></pre id=code>

Okay, it was just a Palm desktop installation problem. I got it to back up. Thanks for the help!
