OS 4.0 problem?

A PocketC native palm library offering native forms and assorted utilities

Running Iron Filings v2.0 on the POSE emulator using the m505 (OS4) ROM presents a problem:
It has occurred for different reasons during different functions. It might be when displaying different forms (such as alerts).
No problems are encountered at all with the Palm IIIc ROM.. only the m505
I get the following error:

PocketC (4.3.0rt) just read from memory location 0x0003FF7A, which is an unallocated chunk of memory.
An "unallocated chunk of memory" is a chunk of memory that has not been reserved for use by the application through calling MemPtrNew or MemHandleNew. It should not be accessed by applications under any circumstances. Such an access usually means that an application is accessing a chunk that used to be allocated to the appliation but has since been returned with MemPtrFree or MemHandleFree.

I hope it's not my code that's the problem. If it is, why would the error not occur in another ROM (B&W, Greyscale & colour tested fine).

There's a zillion things that can produce such an error. You'll need to isolate the occurance in your code for me to make any sense of it.

I did notice that on your demo, you are poping a dialog from a dialog when the save menu option is selected. This kicks out emulator errors and may be part of the problem.

BTW: Any OS4.0 color rom should do.
