can i place an array inside a function call?

I am trying to do something like this
Fctl(SHOW, player(i));
or maybe something like
Fctl(SHOW, ("CB"+i));

so i don't have to repeat the same line multiple names. The "player" array contains the Field values (i.e. {"CB1", "CB2", ...} ).

When i try this i get an illegal function call error.

Your problem is that "CB1" and "CB2" are strings, while the second argument to Fctl is an integer. "CB1" and "CB2" will be converted into integers, probably 1 and 2 (integers) respectively.

Just make sure that you using an integer for the second argument of Fctl and not a string.
